Tork Craft TCT Saw Blade 250 × 40T 30/1/20mm ATB Positive

Heading: 250 mm diameter, 40 carbide-tipped teeth, multi-bore 30/1/20 mm for structural timber & sheet board cutting

The Tork Craft TCPR25040 is a high-capacity 250 mm diameter TCT (tungsten-carbide tipped) circular saw blade with 40 precision ATB (Alternate Top Bevel) positive-hook teeth. Designed for substantial timber and board materials, this blade is a solid choice for wide sheet goods, thick boards and long runs where both cutting volume and edge quality matter.

With a bore of 30 mm nominal and reducing ring for 20 mm (and a listed “1 mm” which may indicate a 16/20 mm alternative or special fit), the blade is compatible with large portable saws, table saws and job-site saws that accept 250 mm blades. The 40-tooth ATB configuration offers cleaner cuts than coarse ripping blades while still delivering strong throughput for structural and general purpose woodwork.

Industrial quality range

The “Professional / Industrial” label denotes that this blade is part of Tork Craft’s high-duty line, created for workshops and job-sites where frequent cuts, demanding materials and tight tolerances are required.

Features

  • 250 mm TCT circular saw blade — offers large diameter for deep cuts and broad sheet capacity.
  • 80 TCG negative-hook teeth — high tooth count combined with trapezoidal carbide geometry and negative hook for smooth, low-tear cuts in aluminium and laminate sheets.
  • 30 mm bore — fits saws with 30 mm arbor; check compatibility with reducing rings if needed.
  • Optimised for aluminium & composites — engineered tooth form and negative hook minimise burrs and surface damage when cutting aluminium and non-ferrous sheet materials.
  • Industrial build quality — designed for consistent performance under frequent use in professional environments.

Benefits

  • Crisp, burr-free finish: The 80-tooth TCG design and negative hook help keep edges clean and reduce post-cut grinding when working with aluminium or composite panels.
  • Versatility for larger format work: The 250 mm diameter means you can cut wide sheets and full panels in one pass, boosting productivity in workshop or site environments.
  • Reduced chipping on face material: Negative hook angle and fine tooth count help preserve the visible face of the material, which is key when finishing visible surfaces.
  • Professional-grade durability: Engineered for daily use in job-site or production settings, this blade offers longer life and stable performance under frequent cutting conditions.

Extra Information

  • Ideal for cutting aluminium sheet, non-ferrous metal plate, laminated panels, composite boards and finish-sensitive trim work where appearance matters.
  • Also suitable for fine work in timber or board materials when a smooth edge is required—but when cutting raw structural lumber, a lower-tooth ripping blade may offer faster feed.
  • Ensure your saw is rated for a 250 mm blade and that you follow recommended RPM limits for aluminium cutting to avoid heat build-up and blade damage.
  • Keep the blade clean, especially from resin, adhesive or metal dust, to maintain tooth condition and extend blade life in demanding use-cases.

Pro Tip

  • When trimming aluminium or sandwich-panel sheets, clamp the sheet securely, run the blade at full speed, feed evenly and ensure adequate extraction of chips. The negative-hook 80T blade will deliver a top-quality finish with minimal edge burrs or breakout.

Safety

  • Wear appropriate eye, ear and dust or chip protection when cutting aluminium or other materials.
  • Disconnect the saw from power before fitting, adjusting or removing the blade.
  • Ensure the blade is correctly mounted, runs true and is rated for both the saw’s diameter and maximum RPM.
  • Use suitable guards, fences, secure work clamps and chip extraction—especially important when cutting metal or composites.
  • Allow the blade to reach full speed before entering the cut, and wait for it to stop completely before setting the tool down.
