TorkCraft - Screw Extractor

Size: M3 - M6
Diameter: 2 mm
Recommended Drill Size: 3.2 mm
Shank: 3.5mm Square Shank

Application:

The Tork Craft Screw Extractor is for the removal of broken bolts and studs, made of carbon steel. Determine the size of the bolt and the desired extractor size, use a file and flatten the broken bolt surface, usually bolts that broke are left with an uneven surface.

Locate the center on the flattened surface and mark with a center punch. Drill a pilot hole, start off with a small diameter and increase to the recommended drill size depending on the extractor size in use.

Insert the extractor into the pilot hole and using a tap wrench the bolt can now be extracted carefully, by turning the screw extractor anti-clockwise.
