Direct CENTROTEC operation requires a Festool WH-CE CENTROTEC tool chuck and a compatible machine with FastFix tool reception.

Suitable cutting lubricant can improve drilling performance and reduce heat when working in steel.

Insert the CENTROTEC shank into the compatible WH-CE CENTROTEC tool chuck and confirm that it is securely locked.
Clamp the workpiece firmly and ensure that the drilling area is clear.
Set the drill to the correct rotational direction and choose a suitable speed for the material and bit diameter.
Apply suitable cutting lubricant when required, particularly when drilling steel.
Position the bit squarely on the marked point and begin drilling with light, controlled pressure.
