Assembly:

  • To unmount the cutter blade, insert the hex wrench through the hole on the protector cover and receive washer.
  • Rotate the receive washer until it is locked with the hex wrench.
  • Loosen the hex nut (left-hand thread) with the hex socket wrench and remove the nut, cup, clamp washer and hex wrench.
  • Mount the cutter blade onto the shaft so that the guide of the receive washer fits in the arbour hole in the cutter blade.
  • Install the clamp washer, cup, and secure the cutter blade with the hex whilst holding the receive washer with hex wrench. Then tighten the hex nut by rotating it counter clockwise.

FAQ:

1. How do I know which blade to use for my application?

  • Consider the type of vegetation you want to cut.
  • Evaluate the type of blade material and ensure that the blade is compatible with the brush cutter.

2. Why is the blade not cutting?

  • Ensure the blade is not dull.
  • Ensure the vegetation being cut is appropriate for the type of blade.
  • Ensure the blade has been placed in the right direction.
  • Ensure the blade teeth are still intact, if broken, replace the blade.

3. Why is the blade wobbling?

  • Ensure the blade is well aligned in the arbor by loosening the arbor nut and positioning the blade and retightening.
  • Ensure the blade is not bent.

4. Can I use the brush cutter blade with any other tool?

  • No, do not use the blade with any other tool except the brush cutter. The brush cutter blade might be similar to other blades but should be used specifically for the brush cutter not any other tool. Use with any other tool can be unsafe to the user.
